Kristin Villa is a 2008 graduate of a Master’s of Science in Health Science, Physician Assistant program at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Ms. Villa received her Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Athletic Training from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in May 2003. Before beginning graduate school, she worked in Indianapolis, Indiana for an orthopedic surgeon with a focus in operative and non operative physical therapy rehabilitation programs. Ms. Villa interned with Foxhall Surgical Associates, P.C. as part of her graduate program rotations. During that time, she developed a special interest in general surgery as well as a strong relationship with our practice and patients.
Ms. Villa joined Foxhall Surgical Associates, P.C. in October 2008 and is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.
Ms. Villa’s primary roles include acting as a first assistant to our surgeons in the operating room, managing hospitalized patients, and helping with patients’ postoperative care and discharge planning. She is also available to all Foxhall Surgical Associates, P.C. patients who have questions or concerns.
